Markham and more  Sucess!

Out of all the peaks accessible from this unique little trailhead, Markham is my favorite. Not for the tedious slog through poodle dog bush and jagged rocks, but for the fantastic views down the canyon up top.

Climbed via Eaton Saddle  Sucess!

Climbed from Eaton Saddle on the morning of July 5, 2015. The use trail from the saddle between Lowe and Markham was steep in places but nothing that difficult. I used my hands maybe 3-5 times. Gorgeous day with fog covering the valleys below but crystal clear skies in the front range with great views and warm but not too hot.

Mt. Lowe and Markham  Sucess!

Hiked up Mt. Lowe and Mt. Markham from Eaton Saddle in November 2007. Great stroll along rocky south side of San Gabriel Peak.

Eaton Saddle to Mt. Markham  Sucess!

Have done this hike a few times but only in combination with some or all of the other nearby peaks, to wit, San Gabriel Peak, Mt. Disappointment, Mt. Lowe and Brown Mountain.
