Camped overnight at Sperry Campground, then climbed up via the East Ridge and down the East face. Loved the views into the Snyder Basin where we had been snowshoing and ice climbing all winter. Climbed with wife Kristi (MtnNinja)

My 200th separate Glacier Park peak!
Camped near Sperry and climbed the East Face on 100% snow. 55 degree slopes near the top. My son Frank joined me, then we went over and climbed Gunsight afterwards. Great day!
Climbed west ridge many times. Great route; one of the best in the park.
Climbed the west ridge. Very nice climb, I think it is one of the best scrambles in G.N.P. solid rock! Tried once, and had to rap down, do to weather. Came back, and finished.
CLIMBED FROM LAKE MCDONALD WITH VERN INGRAHAM OF WHITEFISH, MT FOUND THE ORIGINAL SUMMIT REGISTER WHICH DISAPPEARED IN LATER YEARS
9/9/99 CLIMBED WITH VERN IN CONJUNCTION WITH AN OTHG TREK FROM LOGAN PASS ACROSS THE SPERRY GLACIER BASIN TO LAKE MCDONALD WHILE WAITING FOR OUR FRIENDS TO REACH COMEAU PASS
Maybe this is slightly off topic, but we went up the Sqrague Creek Trail along Edwards to Lincoln Peak. There is the "Sperry Chalet" there. Very nice to stay at! There were tons of mountain goats, even babies. The beginning of trail passes through some nice old growth forest of cedar & hemlock. Very, very quiet and pretty.
Climbed with Fred - traversed peak west to east.
