Eerie sunrise over Mono Lake

Drove from Tioga to Independence for the night to climb University Peak. At dusk noticed smoke drifting over the crest. Bummer. No prob! Just go back up north, do Conness or something. Woke at Mono Lake to this massive range wide bust! Huge Zaca Fire in Santa Barbara area blew up hundreds of miles large over the high country, September, '07
