Re: simplyyes, I have been there. Unfortunately, I was there during the month of May, and it constantly rained. I made a solo attempt on Monch, and a snow storm and whiteout caused me to me to turn back, and barely made it back to the train station. love to go back someday. Thanks for the reply Lodewijk.

Lots of rain ??No wonder the grass is so green.
Is there a Caretaker that cuts the lawn?
You were fortunate to catch the nice weather!

Re: Lots of rain ??Hi Larry, you are very right! (about the weather, and about the caretaker probably too ;-) )
It was a very rainy/snowy season that summer. You can see it on the both summits, there is more snow on it than on a average summer!
Cheers Lodewijk

Re: Nice shotYes it is taken from the Lauterbrunner area, close to Murren to be exact, that is more away from the Eiger and Monch then Kleine Scheidegg is!
You are right about the snow, this pic was taken in september 2005, it was a summer with lots of rain and on the mountains: snow!
Cheers and thank for your comment! Lodewijk

Re: Stunning!Thank you very much!! It was in the summer, and still some fresh snow fell on the peaks creating the nice contrast between the green grass and white snow!
Thanks for passing by, Cheers!
