Eldorado Summit

Here I am finally reaching the summit of Eldorado Peak, July 2007. This was my very frist alpine peak! Again notice the clouds swirlling above us. Interestingly, this photo doesn't actually display the same thing I saw. The polarized lenses and the brown tint of my glacier glasses played with the sunlight through the clouds created a surreal, haunting affect to my perception. What I experienced at the top here was incredible, and this photo can do it no justice. Photo by Dennis Campbell.
