Photographing this face and capturing the scale has always been hard. You can't just walk away from it without some difficulty. I crossed the log jam where the first lake drains into the creek and scrambled up the nearest "knob" to get this shot looking back towards Mt Heyburn. That's the Superslab (photo lower left). We walked right by it when we were gawking at hobbit caves.
