Climbed Missouri with a fresh skiff of early July snow. Traversed to Iowa and the Emerald. Returned via Elkhorn Pass. Mileage is closer to 13.5 round-trip.

Nice scenery, especially after a couple days' snow. Snow conditions started to deteriorate in the afternoon, but good travel in the morning. Trip report.

1/30/10 - Loooong winter hike over Missouri, Iowa & Emerald from high camp. I think we got back to the tents at 9pm.
Combo loop/ridge run of Missouri, Iowa and Emerald.

A nice but horrible loose class 3 route up to Iowa. We followed a route; but got off route lol.
A nice dusting of snow covered the area and the aspens were in full force!
