Todd Creek Route Impassable

I attempted this hike via the Todd Creek trail on February 8, 2015. There is now a dam at the exact junction where the trail crosses the Todd Creek, making it completely impassable. The river was about 4 feet deep here, too much to wade through. Even though it had been raining the past week, it doesn't look like the water would be shallow enough even in the summer. Attempt one of the other three routes to the summit.

Re: Todd Creek Route Impassable

You can avoid the Todd Creek crossing by taking the Maryvine trail to Peden Lake from the top of the Potholes Road (see Peden Bluff or Emperor Mtn pages), walking around the lake and finding a trail about halfway around that goes across to the Todd Creek valley north of the river crossing. I will add the complete description shortly.
