Like the picture!I was there for the first time this past August and enjoyed Rainier even in the fog!

End of the day
I've finished the first (of many, I expect) hike up the side of Mt Rainier. Only made it to 8950' this time, turned back due to approaching weather. Well, as you can see from this shot, the "approaching weather" seems to have disappeared. Oh, well, I wasn't prepared for an overnight on the side of the mountain, so it was the right choice this time. However, there will be more opportunities.
