Lots of snow around the hut and to the start of the route.
We started the climb but went back as the clouds came in. Right after finishing the crux pitch. I loved the limestone here.
I climbed the Rosenlauistock route with a group of four while in Switzerland on a business trip. It was a grand weekend that i will remember forever! One note of caution: Stay away from the wine they sell at the hut - it is most foul!!
13 pitches of good rock, crux was bolted. Climbed with Peter Stueli from Langenthal. Wonderful climb, great weather.
1979 with Dres Schild: had to sit out one thunderstorm at the start. Descended during another storm. 1997 with Fred and Tanya Spicker - good weather this time. 2010 Rosenlauistock NW Flank (4b)with Fred and Dres Schild
Some more visits of this great area in June 2003 ... We climbed the wonderful routes "Häxering" and " Wurzelbrut " to the Signal and the "Schmuzel Runzel" at the Simelistock.

A fantastic route, one of the best climbs I ever have done.
