First time on a Sunday
Beautiful Fall day. Followed the beta that said "end of the second switchback", then started uphill. Drifted too far to the right and ended up below the shorter peak. Quick traverse to the other and we had it. Very straightforward descent without ever dealing with boulder fields. Came out very near where we started up.

In the clouds
With Flanders. Gloomy day. Used the GPS to make sure we hit the right summit. Hailing on us at the top. Fun though.
High Esmeralda is very straight forward and beautiful. So many wildflowers and Mt. Stuart is so visible.

Pretty steep. Met a group up there who, like us, also decided against vesper peak on that day.

It was cold and windy but clear and dry. Excellent views of Mt. Stuart.

Great Peak
EastKing did all the route research and navigation work. I just came along for the ride. The precipitation was considerably lighter than the West side of the mountains and after awhile it was just snow which is a lot nicer than rain. A good summit considering we are into November now.
