Impassable near the end?

I attempted this route for the 2nd time, but once again towards 5200' I lost the trail and just turned around...up to this section someone has done a great job of keeping the trail groomed!

Started hike too early

I like finishing hikes early to avoid PM traffic, but it coincided with AM foggy weather that didn't clear up until after I had decided to descend back down the ridge due to poor visibility. A wonderful hike nonetheless, a good foot of snow towards the upper half of the ridge. When things did clear up I was pretty surprised how far up I was...

A Good Workout

We recently moved from Victorville to Hunter's Ridge, Fontana. Almost every day I spend about 2 hours walking from my house up into the foothills of the San Gabrial Mts. Etiwanta Ridge is a good work out for sure.

Nice Route  Sucess!

To San Sevaine LO and Buck Point with Travis and Bechtt. It is unquestionably a nice route and will give you a workout. Just looking at an image of the ridge sweeping upward in curves and waves makes you want to climb it.

Enjoyable Route  Sucess!

Although some may complain about the brush, I found it to be a minor hindrance and this route was very enjoyable way to hike to San Sevaine Lookout and Buck Point.
