Good story

Pretty neat to have a friend actually doing the climb and hearing his personal account. Love to hear the ending.

Re: Good story

Actually, the ending happened around 2:45AM Nepalese time on last Thursday when he summited. He set medical history by summiting 3 weeks after having HAPE and will be on the BBC as well as Discovery Channell. I have been talking to him since through email and he is trying to talk me into Ama Dablam! I think I will!! I need to do some kind of an update or edit this. Thanks for the input!

Say Hi to Brian...

If you see Brian, please congratulate him for me, and wish him well. I happened to hang out with Brian when he was a bit under the weather in base camp. One cool dude! I was very glad to hear that his summit bid was finally successful, after seeing first hand how the altitude can mess with you. How do I get in touch with him about possible future climbs? Cheers... thanks
