Big Loop from Evergreen Lake
First time up here in March 2021 did a 14 mile loop through Alderfer starting down at Evergreen lake. Hit the summit loop a couple of times quick and stayed on top for a long time taking in the views.
Second time up 4/16/21 started at Alderfer/3 Sisters and did Elephant Butte first, which I hit fairly hard. Took it fairly easy up Evergreen, then hammered around the summit loop and down to the lower (East) parking lot via the East mountain trail...did the roughly 3 miles from the summit to the lower parking lot in 15:26. Fun!

Very gentle trail up. Nice rocky outcroppings up top for some pretty nice views. Lots of people.

Awesome views of Evergreen valley and Mt Evans
The west parking area of the park is far less crowded than the east lot. It was a great hike and the smoke had cleared enough on this day to afford a really awesome view of Mt Evans. To get the best views you will need to scramble to the top of the large granite outcropping at the top on the west side of the summit loop. Some very friendly chipmunks at the top of the mountain that apparently know the sound of crinkling snack wrappers. They were literally at our feet looking for morsels (we gave them some granola for their bravery). Trail is primarily a biking trail so be on the look out for bikers. They were accommodating and pleasant for the most part.

Easy Running
Not too steep. Fun mountain for running up and down. Really enjoyed the views from the top.

Run
Nice trail run but lots of mountain bikers. Combined with a loop through Alderfer/3 Sisters.
Great trail for running, together with ''Three Sisters'' and ''Brother''.

Nice trail
Very nice trail to hike/jog quickly up this little peak. One of my front range favorites. Also the first mountain of my four legged hiking partner "Rufus". The first of many to come.

East-West Trail Loop
Nice hike up the mountain today. Was pretty cold and snowing off and on. Micro spikes are the way to go. No views since the weather came in, but a great trip for January.

Evergreen Mtn Loop
Hiked this nicely wooded trail back in the day before I was an obsessed hiker but remember the lovely trail up to the summit being shaded by trees and tremendous views at the top!
