Re: nice crack...Thank You!
I had a great time taking it.
I was along with the staff of Miguel's Pizza on their spring trip. These folks bust out hundreds of orders a day feeding climbers from all over the world that come to climb in the Red River Gorge. Each spring the owners give the staff a trip after the spring maddness is over here. This year I rode my motorcycle along with them and photographed them climbing.
It was SOOO much fun!!

I liked this one the best of the 900 or so I took on this trip.

Re: yup, great shotYeah I know it might be a bit much.
I use the bracketing feature much more now.
Thanks be for digital photography!!
For the first few years of my climbing experience, I shot film so I really had to make each exposure count. $$$$
The first day of this trip the light was horriable, changing every minute and most of what I took was from the ground looking up.
I was really wanting to get some nice shots for these guys. This crew is some of the best people I have met in the 10 years I have been climbing. The day I shot this photo, the light was far better and I had the right angle on the climb with the sun behind me.
As soon as Kenton yelled up to me that he was going to climb this, I got real excited because from where I was hanging I knew I would get a few nice shots of him climbing.
I only wish I could have shown the other 50 feet of this crack that was still above him.
If you ever make it to the Red River Gorge to climb, you MUST stop and eat at Miguel's.
