Vendetta visit
Ken Jones and I had been to the Ferguson ranch area the year before but a freak snowstorm blasted us out of the area before we even got a crack at the mountain. We had just done Roberts Creek Peak and were hopeful of getting this one as well but as mentioned, the weather turned on us and we ended up getting chased out by it. So, this year, Fagin Mountain was high on our agenda simply because it had now become kind of a vendetta peak.
It was nice to plant our feet on the summit of this mountain and enjoy the outstanding views in all directions. Nice to pick it up and then head off to get Wildcat Peak in the Monitor Valley for our next objective.
