New Love  Sucess!

I've been on Brandon loads of times but this was the first time on Faha Ridge. Savage craic altogether. Scrambling isn't too hard or sustained. You'd just need to have a good head for heights, the exposure is mental at times.

Really enjoyable and a nice alternative to the tourist routes up.

Sure, it'd be rude not to  Sucess!

Visibility was terrible above 500m, but the route was very enjoyable altogether. The occasional disembodied voice rising up through the mist and fog from the Cloghane Pilgrim's Route 300m below only added to the atmosphere.

The same route on a clear day is much more fun. There are any number of more direct routes to the top of the ridgeline visible on the last slope. In fact, it is possible to scramble up the last spine from the third notch, once you can see where you're going, and can deal with the drop underneath.
