Fall Greets Winter at Colchuck Lake

On our way to Dragontail Peak we saw fresh snow coat the surrounding peaks. While looking towards Colchuck Peak I saw a few lone trees golden, still with there wearing their larch coats. Winter was on it's way, but Fall still had it's charm in these parts. Taken October 21, 2012.

When I saw this photo

I thought: "What, did Larry changed his profile name to Josh too?!" hehehe
This shot is much alike Larry's!
And a personal note, those pine trees at the bottom and the bad weather conditions almost made it a natural cut out shot!

Yes, Colchuck really kicks ass, and Josh's
camera and steady hand has definitely left
a lasting impression in my mind's eye.

Thanks Parofes and Larry. I liked the idea of giving the description a more personal feel. It's nice for the eye to enjoy a pic, but the descriptions evoke an emotion. I enjoy Larry's cheerfulness in his photo postings.
