Another great photo. That looks so awesome!
too bad that its unstable, that would be truely good frightful fun. Thanks for the tantalizing photo Dow.
It looks quite dangerous. There's just something about climbing on a frozen waterfall that is amazing! Thanks for sharing.
Thank You. It is addicting to say the least....cheers.
the top doing? Is he belaying from that stance? That would seem a little crazy to me! I cannot zoom in quite neough to make out his posture, so I am not really sure what is going on here.
yes he is Dan, he lowered himself back down from the station, they were using 70m ropes on their climb....cheers
the belay was 15 feet further up off a nest of threads, he just lowered to get some shots of me seconding the pillar.
Awesome.. Really I love it.
This is a SUPER photo! Took my breath away, thanks for posting it.
Thank you. She is down now, we were back in the Ghost climbing Weathering Heights yesterday and saw her no more. Guess most years she never forms completely anyway. Has been a good year.
great shot & great climbing.
A bit of a nasty looking waterfall - killer climbing!
looked at ours the whole time we were climbing and thought it was unstable and we looked at theirs the whole time and remarked that there was a significant break...kind of funny when we saw each others photos....Thanks Deb and Radek.
That there is one cool looking ice climb!
true...many years these two, Rainbow Serpent that we were on, and Fearful Symmetry don't even come in. It was a good year and we nailed both just right. Cheers.
