February Sunrise over the Kettle River Range, Okanogan Highlands
Looking east, across the river, I shot this dawning sunrise from the deck of my cabin in the Kettle River Valley, February, 2011. My love of mountains and deep river valleys led me to this remote area many years ago. I am fortunate to live amongst the bear, moose, mule deer, and bald eagles. There are over thirty named peaks within twenty mile radius of this location.
