Fer-de-Lance

A small one, of the handful of ones we came across. Interestingly, the villagers prefer to kill every snake they find (and do). I flung a few back into he bushes or water, and they were surprised I did it. Although I understood their daily living risks, I actually began to feel sorry for the snakes.
