Fiery Furnace, Arches

The eerie and mysterious Skull Arch hides deep within the Fiery Furnace, awaiting discovery by the tenacious and observant explorer. This arch is not easily found on your own. You must get a reservation for a guided tour (highly recommended), or a permit from the Visitor Center to enter the Furnace on your own. Be advised that unguided people get lost and stranded in the Furnace and are routinely rescued. The Furnace is very complex, and defies accurate mapping.
