Fishfin Ridge Panorama

Fishfin Ridge Panorama

This is a 270° view blended from several composite images. There is a shadow artefact from the blending on the first peak from the right and the tree limbs next to it. The standpoint is on Fishfin Ridge (west of the crags), elevation 9400'. From right to left, the field of view progresses from the west to the south (tarn, Harbor and Wilson Lakes), the east (Fishfin Ridge) and finally the north (Birdbill and Gentian Lakes), with a view of Mount McGuire on the far left — August 2005

Fantastic Panorama

This is an absolutely fantastic panorama of an area that I love. That storm cell in the distance is something that I can relate to and really makes this panorama feel so real. Very nice work. How does something like this slip by without any other comments? Congratulations!
