Flagpole Needles, from the...

Flagpole Needles, from the top of Little Annapurna. The flagpole is in the center of this pic and appears to the right of the summit ridgeline of Pennant Peak (centered). It looks like a little finger angling to the right but it is one of the fun challenges of this area. The flagpole was first climbed by none other than Fred Becky and Pete Schoening back in 1950.
