..benchmark. True, it says Scipio, not Fool Creek Peak but most likely this peak was originally called Scipio Peak. The town of Scipio is down below to the east and you have a nice view of Fool Creek Peak from that town. The central benchmark was missing, most likely carried off by some idiot who pried it out of the rock. Interesting dates on the witness marker. 6-14-08
