Yea, so do we. I wonder why the trail is so well developed - do that many people screw up or is it a goal in and of itself with a nice view of the lake and valley for relatively little extra effort.
So, did you summit Frisco?
If you can find some more photos - they'd be welcomed.
I was there for a hike just up to Heather Pass and around the lakes that day. I scrambled the ridge on Frisco as far as it would take me but when I cliffed out, I headed back to rejoin my party lounging in the heather below. Now that I know the correct route though by your page, maybe I'll head up there again.

I know wellof the scramble onto the cliffed out crag you speak of in the getting there section. :- ) I'll have to see if I can dig out those old photos.
