From Misurina lake to Auronzo refuge at the foot of 3 Cime di Lavaredo

Introduction

Auronzo refuge, at the foot of 3 cime di Lavaredo,can be reached by a toll road, starting not far from Antorno lake, where it is possible to park the car if one is going to get Auronzo refuge on foot, either by choice or obligatorily when the road is close. This is what my wife and I found at the end of May in the last spring, coming from Misurina lake (where one can get a first glimpse of 3 Cime), due to the snowfalls in the previous months.

Therefore, after a short (panoramic) walk around Antorno lake, we headed towards Auronzo refuge on foot, following the road still partially snowy.
