From the Summit

Taken on April 23, 2018 from the summit. Not sure how I made it to the top. Was it worth it? A strong maybe. If you are doing this one in the winter, you are doing it for the bagging rights, not just the views. Either that or you're just crazy.

That's a lot of snow!

My wife and I did little bear in late September 2008. The first snowfall came the day before we summitted and the Hour Glass was full of ice. Definitely intimidating! I can't imagine doing it in the conditions you did!!

Congrats on the September summit! This mountain is no easy task with any ice on it. Combine that with the long, arduous approach on the road to Lake Como (I started from 2WD trailhead). I actually switched to shorts and t-shirt because it was so nice on the way down.
