Fryingpan Glacier

Hiking up the Summerland Trail, along the Fryingpan Creek, we started to see glimpses of Mount Rainier after 3 miles then the clouds moved in. We had peek-a-boo views from then on ): The waters from melt-off of Fryingpan Glacier flow into Fryingpan Creek then into the White River and on into the Puget Sound. Rainier National Park, 8/11/08.
