Nice traverse
Our trip starts in Serfaus. We've walked to the Kolnerhaus and further to the Furlerjoch by the Furglersee. Descent from the summit by the west ridge via Tieftalsee to the Lazidkopf.
Very nice trip and killer view of Hoher Riffler to the north, Muttler, Stammerspitz & Hexenkopf to the west, Ortler to the south-east and Otztal Alps to the East.

Traverse Route: Lazid - Tieftalsee - Furgler - Furglersee - Komperdell - Serfaus
Great daytrip. The day started cloudy, but at the time we summitted the clouds disappeared. Popular summit in the Serfaus area.

A long time ago, in another life...
The truth is, I can't remember when I did this. It was in another life, when I was starting out with mountains. My mentor (and then partner) Alf was working in Ladis and one day, when he had a short route planned for his group, I took off to do Furgler.
Easy until the final haul when the mist came down and I nearly gave up. I felt very alone and a bit scared, but sense told me it wasn't a difficult route to find my way back down. All of a sudden through the mist came a young couple coming down. In their t-shirt and sneakers it rather put it all into perspective! Somewhere I have a self-portrait of me at the top, but its pre-digital...

Route Climbed: The first one to the top, the second one down. Date Climbed: 16 July 2004After two previous attempts to reach the top (the other two failed due to bad weather), the third one was succesfull !
Very nice view on the top. Nice mountain to climb.
