Climbed Fuya Fuya with Edgar (ECU). We guided Angela and Bernd from Germany, and Rommy from Austria. We all summited both summits. Edgar and I summited the true summit (4,263 m/13,982 ft) separately. Great views of the crater and Cerro Negro.
Climbed Cerro Negro from the east side. Met with three andean wolves hanging out at the summit.. (4,260 m / 13,976 ft) scary moment!. Nice views of the crater and the lakes as well as Cayambe in the distance.
Climbed main summit in January 2009. Spectacularly beautiful area.
