The glorious day continues
My first visit to the area had been back in 2007. I had stayed at the Schlüterhütte and wanted to climb the Peitlerkogel and then follow the southern leg of the Günther Messner Steig, but in the morning the weather looked somewhat unstable and so, from the Peitlerscharte, I took the much easier northern leg of the Günther Messner Steig, and after that continued all the way down to Klausen.
In 2014 I was back again. After I finally climbing the Peitlerkofel, the glorious weather that the forecast had predicted continued, and so, from the Peitlerscharte, I set out along the southern leg of the Günther Messner Steig. Great views all along the way. Perhaps I've set a record now: I took 7 years to complete the whole thing!
