Route Climbed: Black pond bushwhack to lincoln brook Date Climbed: March 2005
We skied into black pond with the sleds and set up camp. Next day we went for the peak through the black pond bushwhack cutoff to lincoln brook. Nice views from the slide and some deep snow on the ridge got us to the summit cairn. A nice night in -11 F on black pond kept the snow from softening and kept everything dry. A good time.
Route Climbed: Galehead Trail from Hut, etc Date Climbed: June 11, 2005
99.9% humidity, a few black flies, and a great three-bagger with Galehead, South Twin and North Twin, starting on the Gale River Trail. Trails were muddy and wet, thundershowers, thankfully, stayed away. Too hazy for much of a view.
