Galen Clark's headstone, half...
Galen Clark's headstone, half carved by himself, in the Pioneer Cemetery. He came to the Valley in the 1850's to die, and lived another 60+ years. This spot is the location of all but 1 of the Sequoias located on the Valley Floor; Clark planted one for each decade he survived his doctors predictions of his death.
There is one other Sequoia on the Valley Floor...
