Not just romanian people leave garbage, we took some from foreigners also and this is sad. All this garbage it is now in the lake and on the all valleys from there. Needs helicopter to take all that dirty and I can see that nobody care! I posted this pics that maybe somebody will see and will do something for this! The problem anyway still remain causae if the people will not stop leaving garbage it will be the same after every cleaning! This people shouldnt be in the mountains! How can you destroy such beauties :(! How can you like to hike near all this garbage??? Uffff :(((((!

Re: Oh but this is crazy!Totally understand what you say and how you feel. What you can do (apart from publicizing it) is to take a little bit down with you. It will not stop regeneration of the garbage, but will help nature a little bit.

Sad is that we clean after some foreigners, so this problem maybe it is everywhere just that in their countries are afraid to do this, you what I mean....

Re: Oh but this is crazy!That's the same as Eastern... I can say there is plenty of garbage around Hungarian trails as well. Maybe less visible, but there is. I usually have opportunity to collect beer cans and plastic bottles from the forest whenever I hike at home. :(

So bad.... I cant understand and I will never do, how can you enjoy the nature when you have so many garbage around??? Do not bother them???? They have same garbage in their houses too? Hmmmm....

Re: Oh but this is crazy!Careless people can be found anywhere. Fortunately, there is fewer of them at places which are less easy to access, or less popular. In the case of Fagaras, I think popularity outweights remoteness and altitude, that's why there is more garbage than in other similar ranges in the area. For example Rodnei Mts are much cleaner. But even there, the popular trail to Cascada Cailor is supplied with plenty of rubbish.
