circular route  Sucess!

From the village of Escuain, we took the track up to where you can access the Puen d'os Mallos. The info office in the village told us that the circular route we had been going to take was "closed" after a landslide. Actually, 3 years before, we found out later.
We managed to make a circuit by returning by a lower path in the trees, direction Escuain, egnoring the temporary plastic-ribbon banner and found only one small section of "tricky" path. But people had passed and made a suitable and pretty save crossing where the landslide had been. It was not dangerous, but probably only for the experienced and sure-footed.
Back in Escuain we took the short - but very steep and in some places scrambly - route down into the gorge. Then back up again.
Indeed a wonderful, unique place.
