Only when you see the huge pyramid of Thalay Sagar, the north-west face of the Shivling, the Bhagirathi massif, the enormous holy Nanda Devi or the vertical north face of the Changabang you can understand how wonderful and wild are this Himalayan peaks.

Thanks for the suggestion. Now, I have put up a few photos, which should make the mage exciting. Some are captured by me, and some are from other sources.
1. It's nice to see these photos, but:
a. They have minimal, or no, captions - not good - and,
b. They are uncredited. Did you take them all ? Uncredited photos are disapproved of on SP.
2. Himalaya is singular, not "Himalayas".
3. Do not put 'Mt' or 'Mount' in front of these local mountain names.
Both points #2 & #3 are not just about variations or differences - they are erroneous Western (mainly American) distortions of perfectly fine and accurate non-English terms.
Thanks D, for the helpful comments and suggestions. I agree that a lot of photos embedded in the text don't have captions, but the ones at the end are definitely captioned. Also, I didn't take credit for the photos. Although, some are clicked by me (while on my Mt. Thelu expedition, in 01), some are from websites as well as from friends who are in India, and keep going to this beautiful region to climb. I will change the name of "Himalayas" though. Thanks for mentioning that.
And, regarding a "Mt." in front of the names, I agree with you, but at the same time, I (when was in Uttarkashi on 2 different occasions) heard a LOT of local people, including guides, use "Mount" in front of a majority of these mountains. So, sometimes, it gets used, sometimes, it doesn't. I primarily used it, as a majority of members at SP are in from west, so thought, it would be helpful in identifying with the mountains.
Above all, the main purpose of this page was to let people know of this wonderful region, which is also a climbing haven for mountaineers from all around the world.

I'd remove the photos from this page immediately that are from other websites as you're in breech of copyright laws unless you have permission. If someone used my photos without my permission I wouldn't be happy and I'm sure that others would feel the same way. As Damien said, I'd get rid of the "Mt" and "Mount" you the reasons previously mentioned. Otherwise, page is coming along nicely.

As I read this page. I noticed several different writing styles. Then I noticed that pictures were copied, without permission / credits. I think you've missed the point about SP. It's about members submittting their own information & photos about an area or mountain. I think you should write what you know and post photos that you have. I'm sure it would be accepted much better by the members.
Nice page, only one correction; Prominent Peaks in the Region (with hyperlinks): hyperlinks aren't set correctly. E.g. http://http//www.peakware.com/peaks.html?pk=720

Credits & Terminology1. It's nice to see these photos, but:

This would put Nanda Devi at over 8100 meters - Please correct this statement, as it is clearly false. Thanks!
