Wonderful G IV!

First time climbed by the italian party of Riccardo Cassin. Walter Bonatti and Carlo Mauri reached the summit on august 6, 1958 at 12.30. A great exploit for this alpinists that climbed the very difficlt last section ( from 7000m to 7925m ) in perfect alpine style, something that nobody had tried before.

Re: Wow Afzal!

Thank you very much for your comments to my photo of G4. Karakoram, Pakistan, this splendid and magnificent collection of brown and black metamorphics rocks is the most unique mountain range. It has the largest concentration of lofty pinnacles an mountains in the world. I hope you will see these great mountains in future.
