Gasthof Ruetz in Sankt Sigmund im Sellrain

Gasthof Ruetz, in a building typical for Tirol, is a welcoming place in Sankt Sigmund im Selrain. I still remember that the food was excellent too. If I'm in the area again, I know where to go. I explored the Sellrainer Berge for more than a week, and stayed there several times. I did day hikes, climbed a via ferrata and did two multi-day trips, hiking (and some scrambling) from refuge to refuge. Even though it was at the height of the season, the only place that was full was the Winnebachseehütte. Not a problem since I didn't plan to stay there. 7 Aug 2015.
