With GE and another...
Fun route up south slope of GW, then down into saddle and up GE. Then down saddle again to small bump. W Michelle.

A favourite
Hiked many times, most recently in June '16. The Geissler ridge is an annual family tradition -- a lovely hike.

Southeast face direct
Climbed on way back towards Aspen. Just cut off trail at bridge to the west. Climbed straight up the first ridge in a rocky wash. Trekked across the soggy moss and snow fields to the base of the mountain. Picked a fun path up the steep side with a touch of scrambling. Boulder hopped over to the summit due to all of the snow still squeezing the ridge. Down towards the saddle and hit Independence lake before trekking out. Fun adventure!
1st: 8/3/08 Solo climb, started at the upper trailhead for the Lost Man loop and headed to the saddle between the peaks. Then up the West peak, traversed to the East peak and descended to "Lost Man Pass", some easy 3rd class if you stay on the ridges. From there I traversed high to get to the PT 13001 saddle and up the ridge. This ridge has 2 major steps, but you can avoid them on grassy ledges/gullies on the left to keep the route class 2+. It started to rain at 11.45am, right when I got back to the car, perfect timing I guess.
2nd: 6/17/17 Ski descent with Rachael and Craig, was holding snow pretty well, summit was melted but able to ski from a bit below the summit to about 12,600 then up towards the summit of PT 13186 for a second lap, took the skis off around 11,800 and hiked the muddy trail back to the car.
