With Sherman and Sheridan. Nice summit.
in my Mosquito range traverse (Started at Horseshoe Peak via Leavick)
Via Iowa Gulch. Up to Dyer, over Gemini, over Sherman, back down to Iowa Gulch.
Did this in combination with Sherman and Sheridan. Hiking over to Gemini from Sherman is well worth the (very minor) effort, as you can have total solitude over on Gemini, whereas the Sherman summit was loaded with people.
Gemini is of course the nicer summit, as there are no obnoxious 14er climbers.
and before Dyer, followed by the T-storm
Hiked Gemini from Sherman. Visited both summits. Nice hike, beautiful views.
Nice day. Gorgeous!
Sherman ridge was blasted with wind, once we strat hiking below ridge wind wasn't factor.
Did this circuit with Sherman and Dyer as well. Was a decent day in September. Coming from Dyer doing the class 3 W Ridge made this enjoyable, and I definitely recommend going that way if you want to do these peaks.
We took the upper Iowa gulch route on the descent to make it a somewhat of a loop.
From Iowa Gulch. Alot of loose scree up the short, steep slope to the summit.
Did both bumps along with Dyer and Sherman. Before getting to Sherman, saw only one person (who was coming from Sherman).
hiked over from Sherman
Fresh snow made this more of a chore than it needed to be, but it was worth the extra effort.
Didn't even stop on top of Sherman, just kept cruising.
All alone for both mtns today.
A nice quick day for Dyer & Gemini. Scratched plans for Sherman & Sheridon due to the wind....imagine that, windy on Sherman.
Wife, dog and I. Looped from Dyer-Gemini-Sherman-Sheridan.
Did along with Sherman and "White Ridge"
10/2/05 - From Iowa Gulch. Very windy day. Climbed Sherman kind of by mistake! "Why are all of those people standing up there on that ridge bump... oh, I think we must be climbing Sherman!"
1/29/17 - Winter ascent from Iowa Gulch.
