I wasn't expecting the park to be as magnificent as it was... so to say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. A great place with tonnes of nooks and crannies to explore... can't wait to go back.
Hiked here on a field trip as a kid.
A nice winter escape. Great views and nice ice flows. The Finger Lakes Region is wonderful.

It has been years, but I use to spend a lot of time exploring this lovely gorge and Letchworth State Park. Well worth a visit.
If you're ever in the area its worth checking out!
This was quite a pleasant surprise when I lived in upstate NY.
Living in Western, NY, there are few options for climbing/hiking. Letchworth State Park is a godsend for those who remain there. Awesome Waterfalls!!!
