Ghostrider

Ghostrider

The approximate location of Ghostrider. The gap in the middle is the large ledge at mid-height. All three starts are hidden behind trees at the bottom. The approximate locations for two are indicated. The third (original) start is out of the frame to the right. The next left-facing corner to the left of Ghostrider is Satoris, which can be climbed to the halfway ledge (up to 5.9), where a short easy traverse allows you to finish up on the last 4 pitches of Ghostrider. If you have huge gear (think Valley Giants) then this might be a way to bypass the harder sections of Ghostrider. Farther left on the other side of the tall pine in the foreground, is the diagonal overlap of No Country for Old Men, another long 10c climb put up in 2007 by local guides SP Parker, Howie Schwartz, Mark Houston, Kathy Cosley, Chris SImmons, and Wayne Sayer.
