Normal hiking route from the northwest
The forecast said there would be rain, possibly with thunder and lightning, between 2 and 5 in the afternoon, so we hiked up and down real fast.
We were back at the car shortly before 2, and the first drops had already come down, but it didn't get serious yet. However, the clouds got lower and the rain did arrive eventually. Around 4 o'clock it was raining, the summit was in the clouds, and indeed, I heard thunder - but by then I was in the safety of the hostel at nearby Kabelvag.
