Glacier Dome and Mt Haidinger
From the start of the Ball Pass trail on the Tasman Valley floor, you can't see this, but the higher you get, the better the views become.
This is looking north from the trail on the spur to Caroline Hut, still relatively low.
To the left is Glacier Dome, on the eastern edge of the Grand Plateau. Further back, to the right, Mount Haidinger.
