Entering the Valley of Rhemes remember to note how the great glaciers are "knotted" all basically the same and the border with Valdisère. The head of the valley has in fact, like a large fan, a series of five glaciers closely related to each other and the same spread out from the foot of the Northwestern Faces Basei/Bousson Summits ( Glacier Lavassey) and the remaining to Galisia at Roc Basagne, Roc du Fond, Calabre, Quart Dessus, Tsanteleina to reach with that of Soches almost lapping the great Eastern Wall of Granta Parei. In addition, a secondary walloon contains the sixth glacier of the same name and a beautiful lake at the base thereof, or of schooner, which completely encircles the Northern and Western Slopes of this mountain. To these must be added the small glaciers of the two watersheds: the Oriental there are four on the partition with the Valsavarenche, while on the other side, ie between Rhemes/Valgrisenche, of it there are seven similar with the last (Torrent at the foot of the North Face of the Grande Rousse) it should be noted that most.
Entrando nella Valle di Rhemes c'é da annotare come i grandi ghiacciai siano "annodati" tutti in fondo alla medesima ed ai confini con la Valdisère. La testata della valle presenta infatti, a guisa di grande ventaglio, una serie di cinque ghiacciai strettamente connessi tra di loro; gli stessi s'allargano dalle pendici Nordoccidentali delle Punte Basei/Bousson (Ghiacciaio di Lavassey) ed i restanti alla Galisia, al Roc Basagne, Roc du Fond, Calabre, Quart Dessus, Tsantelèina per giungere con quello di Soches quasi a lambire la grande parete Orientale della Granta Parei. Oltre, un vallone secondario contiene il sesto ghiacciaio ed un bel omonimo lago alla base dello stesso, ovvero di Goletta, che cinge completamente i Versanti Settentrionale ed Occidentale di questa montagna. A questi vanno aggiunti i piccoli ghiacciai dei due spartiacque: ad Est ne esistono quattro sul divisorio con la Valsavarenche, mentre sul lato opposto, cioé tra Rhemes/Valgrisenche, ne troviamo sette analoghi con l'ultimo (Torrent ai piedi del Versante Nord della Grande Rousse) che maggiormente si evidenzia.
