Trudged it

After a rain soaked ascent of "Labyrinth", (recalling the mind-bending traverse), we trudged down the glen and back to camp. An exhausting 11 hour day, but rewarded with clearing weather on arrival. And our dinner never tasted so good - the desert, of some 30 yrs ago, I clearly remember - a Heinz tinned sponge pudding, with carnation milk evaporated milk. Awesome.

awaiting my next visit

on our last visit, Colin decided he couldn't carry out all the remaining tinned food so he left a stack by the campsite entrance. Hopefully someone found good use for them and enjoyed a free dinner.
