Re: Not many of these leftThere has been an off-again-on-again operation. Over the last 20 years it has gone out of business several times. When it is out of business lots of people use the tracks to hike and mountain bike. When it is in business they chase folks off. There are 16 tunnels some are so long that you must have a flash light, in the middle the entrances are a speck of light on each end.

Re: An awesome piece of constructionIt's really amazing that the trestle is still standing after all of these years. Some other smaller ones, on this line have burned. I bet that if you stood on it when a train went over, the trestle would sway and bounce.
