I know where your lakes are, I've seen them and I know a couple of other regions with few from what I remember of the map.
Yes, limestone is water permissive, which makes them more rare and which is why I was so surprised to see so many in the 7 Lakes. But we do have limestone lakes in the Pyrenees too, like this one (my favourite). Limestone lakes are usually caused by one of these 2 reasons (at least) : 1/ high water debit, which ensures lake filling in higher rate than its own porosity (usually in the centre of large valleys) 2/ Limestone area hiding granitic grounds under. Maybe the case in Triglav ? (Grantic Hohe Tauern is not far !)
