With Chris Dickson on a gloriously clear September day. Followed standard west route from Siyeh Bend to Matahpi Going-to-the-Sun saddle. From there, we followed well-worn trails to the super steep, super loose gully. We plodded up the loose rock and left the gully near the very top; two mostly protected class IV moves were required to get to the summit ridge. Easy stroll and route finding to the summit from there. Astounding views from this centrally located peak. Returned via the same route.

This was my 1st real good limb this year and it was a lot of fun. The people behind us said they watch my partner and I pass right under a couple Grizzlies and we didn't even notice. Kind of a shame as I went all summer with out a grizz sighting.
Climbed both up the diagonal chute with Don Scharfe, Pete Metzmaker, Josh Kroll and Sarah Kroll. Beautiful with a brief period of smoke from the Howe Ridge fire.

A slog but worth it
Got a little delayed by taking the wrong gullies up and down. Views were not amazing due to regional forest fires. Also got Matahpi this day. Climbed with J Hawes

With Jared, Hannah, and Terezie. We all had plans broken on us, so we made a late start after lunch with the hopes of finishing before the road closed due to construction. We were not so lucky. Beautiful summit, on a hazy day, with some difficulty finding the proper return down the black cliff bands leading to the dry creek beds. Finished the hike by the moons glow.

West Face
Tough Fun Day. Was planning on doing Matahpi too but rain moved in.
A great climb on a very hot day. The sun warmed up the snow so quickly that we could actually set off small wet slides with a kick to the top of the snowpack. We were happy to stick mostly to dry ground.
Climbed with a group of four GPI employees on a perfect September day. That was a hot summer. Beautiful mountain, but our day was pretty sketchy. Very scary rockfall situation descending the diagonal chute. One of our party got way too far ahead of the group and was very nearly killed by falling rock. We ended up coming down very slowly, one by one, and had to finish down climbing in the dark. I learned a lot from this one.

Going-to-the-Snow
Climbed up the diagonal chute with Natalee Rowe and Jeff Street in celebration of Chris Street and Howard Stone. Incredible Climb, much looser near the top than I was expecting. Saw a Golden Eagle gliding and diving and circling the summit. Started to snow at the top and snowed all the way down. One of the most rewarding and satisfying climbs I've done in the park. GRD.
